Q. What makes Fortified Textiles different from other suppliers?

Q. How much does a roll of material weigh?
This is complicated. Each fabric has different weights as well as widths. It’s best to call us for accurate information.

Q. Can I print on your fabric?
Most of our materials can be printed on. Some materials require different inks or processes. Please call us to discuss the printing options.

Q. How do you test your materials?
We have incorporated the standards widely used within the industry. These results can be found on the indidual material pages.

Q. Does Fortified Textiles sell manufactured products?
No. We are a material distributor/supplier. Regarding your specific products needs, we have Strategic Partnerships that we can connect you.

Q. Can you provide custom colors?
Yes, we have the ability to color match. We would need a sample of the material in order to accommodate custom color requests. Minimum order quantities may be required and there may be longer lead times.

Q. How long will it take to deliver my order?
Depending on your geographic location, stock items can be delivered within 1-2 days. If it is in our power, we will deliver your material in the timeframe you require. This can be addressed with one of our team members.

Q. Do your colors fade?
This will depend on the colorfastness of the specific material. Solution dyed polyester – Marine Series – has better colorfast properties. The vinyl coated, laminated materials we carry have good colorfast properties, but in outdoor applications, they will tend to change after a period of years.

Q. What is your minimum order policy?
If we stock the material, we can supply any yardage needed. If we do not stock the material, we can source it for you, but minimum order quantities may apply. Minimum order quantities could range from 1 roll to a container. We are flexible and willing to do what others won’t in order to create a mutually beneficial relationship.

Q. What is your return policy?
We will make our best attempt to be as fair as possible in relation to any reasonable return request.

Q. Do you provide samples?
Absolutely. Our approach to business is to make our customers completely comfortable with our materials before a purchase is made.

Q. What are your credit terms?
Our standard operating procedure is to request three credit references for access to payment terms of Net 30 Days. Until terms are approved, we request payment in advance via credit card, check, or bank wire.

Q. Is Fortified able to source special treated materials?
We believe we can handle these special requests. Standard special treatments such as Fire Retardant, Anti-Static, CPSIA (lead free), Low Cold Crack (anti-freezing), Mildew Resistant, or UV Resistant can be provided. We can source the material that best suits your application.

Q. What's my alternative if I can not find the material I'm looking for?
We are open to any custom requests. We pride ourselves on providing material solutions regardless of the application. Typically, no matter how specific or challenging the request, we are able to find a solution for you!
